About This Photo: I was on the back of a tandem bicycle while taking this photo. It was the last Fourth Of July before things went through a cold period. Alcohol and Separation changed things. Friends abandoned, and people moved away. The once big blowout continues to change and grow in new ways. |

About This Photo: I was in California doing business for a large chip manufacturer. My client's daughter had just bought land in the hills overlooking Santa Cruz and invited me (never having met me) to a party. It was the sort of event you could write a movie about. An eclectic mix of people got together to celebrate in nature far from watchful eyes. We weren't "adults" doing drugs and having sex, just playing like innocent 5 year kids. |

About This Photo: I'll always remember this friend as the one that taught me about love. He drove up to Alaska in a beat up old Toyota pickup, found his place, his love, and settled into a good career doing exactly what he wants. Here we are in the Artic circle. |
